Festival Maas at Bankastudios

Bankastudios, Videopower and Festival Maas are collaborating to present an immersive Lab experience with video artist and musician Rik Chaubet. You will be invited to explore a small alternative local music scene and its relationship to image and editing. A look behind the technical mechanics of Chaubet’s artistic practice, in which creative pleasure, humour, music, experimentation and improvisation all intermingle into a sonic feast for the eyes.
Rik Chaubet is a filmmaker, editor, teacher and musician. In his work he investigates the relationship between film and music, image and sound, whether that is through music videos, performances, music documentaries or his own music.

This Lab will take place during Festival Maas on September 6 in Banka Studios.
Doors open: 19.00.
The event will begin at 20.00 and will last until 23.00.
Entrance is free and open to the public.
